War Hero's Shame As Grandson Faces Court for Robbery

A STREET robber who left a German tourist injured in Cardiff city centre has brought shame on his war-hero grandfather, a court heard. Somali-born Abdirisak Osman, now 19, has been in Cardiff since he was 10. The tourist was his third victim.

POLICE were last night questioning a 36-year-old man on suspicion of murder after paramedics were told a woman would not wake up the day after being hit by a car. A spokeswoman for the Welsh Ambulance Service said it attended a terraced house in Pentwyn Avenue, Mountain Ash, after taking a call claiming a 21-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle the previous night and had fallen unconscious.
