TWO Mozambican men have denied murdering a Bridgend-born businessman in front of his family in South Africa, insisting they were asleep at home at the time of the killing. Petro Markel, 27, and Christovao Fresco Ndima, 20, are currently on trial at the High Court in Pretoria accused of killing 41-year- old Fred Picton-Turbervill at his home in January last year.

VETERAN cyclist Eric Hodge was joined by a serving Welsh Guards soldier on an epic charity cycle ride from Lands End to John O'Groats.
