he Wales Millennium Centre is truly rocking this week. In the auditorium audiences are being dazzled by stars Rhydian Roberts and Noel Sullivan in hit musical We Will Rock You. But staff at the Cardiff Bay centre are also using the show as the basis for the launch of the first every Learning Week designed to give everyone a chance to get a closer look at what goes on at the centre.
Today MAESTEG Maesteg Art Society is exhibiting their work at Y Llynfi Library in Maesteg Sports Centre until the end of the month. Open Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10.30am-5pm; enjoy acrylic and watercolour paintings of local land and sea views, wildlife, horticulture and heritage sites.

The other evening, I had a reflective look on my face and my mind was captured by an important question. I couldn't help but wonder how my cookery skills would be categorised. These thoughts came about after recently spending the day watching back-to-back episodes of Masterchef.

What a strange morning feeling I had last week on the allotment. It was a brilliant sunny morning after a very white frost and as I entered the locked gate it was unusually quiet.
