200 Drink-Drivers Lose Their Licences

Summary


Christmas drink-driving cost more than 200 South Wales drivers their licences during the force's seasonal crackdown. The number of boozy motorists caught behind the wheel dropped slightly from last year's figures despite the number of people being tested rising by a third.

But 40 per cent more people were found driving under the influence of drugs during this Christmas campaign by South Wales Police compared to the number in 2006/7.
