Summary
IN March, after yet another fatality on the Barry Docks Link Road, the three Cadoc councillors - myself, Fred Johnson and Neil Moore - requested a report to look for further ways to improve road safety and protect residents of Barry and the Vale on this very busy and dangerous road.
Regrettably the report was brought to the meeting of the Economy and Environment Scrutiny Meeting on Tuesday, a day after another fatality had occurred on this road, which reinforced the urgency of doing something. Extra safety measures clearly need to be made to this road after yet another fatality. My condolences go out to the family and friends of those who have been casualties after incidents on this road.See the full content of this document
