Summary
WHEN I joined City of Cardiff transport (Cardiff Bus) in the late 1950s there were terminal points all around city centre, St John Square, service 22, Mill Lane service 39/39A and Bute Street by single deck trolleybus, St Mary Street various trolley bus routes, Kingsway and Greyfriars Road all other motor bus routes and Windsor Lane No 5 trolley bus.
When the bus station was built almost all services were run from there, and overflow from Wood Street staff and passengers - happy - everyone knew where their bus was.See the full content of this document
