VALE OF GLAMORGAN'S Rhys Pugh underlined his credentials as one of the best up-and-coming golfers in Britain and Ireland by winning the Fairhaven Trophy.
That success backs up his victory in the Peter McEvoy Trophy, with 16-year-old Pugh winning two of the biggest under-18 competitions in amateur golf in quick succession. The Pontypridd schoolboy is also studying for his GCSEs this summer, but that did not stop him putting in an impressive performance at Fairhaven - near Lytham St Anne's on the north west English coast, where the Lytham Trophy was also being held.See the full content of this document
