THE NHS faces tough choices if it is to continue to deliver services in the face of the toughest financial settlement in the UK, the auditor general has warned.

In a stark message about the huge gaps in public service budgets, Auditor General for Wales Huw Vaughan Thomas today said the whole of the public sector faced "unprecedented" levels of financial pressure with a real-terms drop of pounds 1.9bn, or 12.4%, by 2014-15.
