CARDIFF Bay is being opened up for angling as part of a newFishing for Everyone initiative. During the past 10 years the ecology of Cardiff Bay has developed into a good diversity of habitats and fish species and a healthy coarse fishery for anglers.
By opening the bay up for angling, the Harbour Authority is hoping that fishing activities will increase the number and diversity of visitors. Councillor Nigel Howells, Cardiff council's executive member for sports, leisure and culture, said: "By openinguptheBay for freshwater fishing,we are able to give local people the opportunity to experience this very enjoyable pastime right on their doorstep."See the full content of this document
