Summary
Echo readers will today be angry and upset at the plight of pensioner Amelia Walters. The 74-year-old returned to her family home in Tongwynlais the day after burying her husband, James, to find the place had been ransacked by burglars. Any burglary causes immense distress for the victim. What makes this crime particularly sickening is that it appears the burglars knew that Mrs Walters would be attending her husband's funeral and the house would be empty.
