An Iranian teenager who fell into drugs and crime to 'fit in' with Welsh school friends has been locked up for 33 months for his part in a city street robbery. Cardiff Crown Court heard how Hamzeh Barbareza's parents took him back to Iran because they were so embarrassed by him.

But he wanted to make a life here and returned to Cardiff against their wishes knowing he was wanted for being the only one identified from a gang who targeted a drunken student in Cathedral Road in April last year, stealing his wallet.
