CHARTERED Trust edged closer to claiming the league title as they recorded a 42-run win over 30th birthday boys Cardiff Cavaliers.

Batting first Trust were led off by a fine half century from Craig Mohring (54) and with able support from Mark Pickernell (22), John Cooper (22) and Steve Holton (21 not out), they posted a formidable 164 for seven.
