Residents have lost the latest stage in their battle to stop affordable houses and flats being built on the approach Road to Barry Cemetery. Newydd Housing Association was last month granted planning permission to build 61 houses and flats on the land at the top of Tynewydd Road, Barry. The decision was taken on the casting vote of the chairman, Councillor Andrew Dobbinson.
