THE Newport Sea Anglers Christmas competition attracted 49 members to the tidal River Usk at Coronation Park, where club chairman Mark Wall rounded off a very successful year by winning with two flounders weighing 830gm.

Junior member Jack Dean was a close second with two flounders weighing 760gm and Rob Chapman came in third with two flounders and 620gm.
