Summary
The event was my cousin Rosie's wedding to James and we ate summer tomato soup with basil oil, roasted breast of guinea fowl with a rich dark jus, fondant potatoes, pureed carrots, cabbage, broccoli and to finish strawberry cheese cake with vanilla cream and berry couli.
It was all served up in Oxford's oldest hotel, The Randolph, after the wedding in Keble College chapel with its huge stained glass windows, old wooden pews, tiled floor and, much to my mother's excitement, an original pre-Raphaelite William Holman Hunt masterpiece, The Light of the World.See the full content of this document
