Whilst pushing my children Molly and Jake on the swings, "Scream if you want to go higher", I got a phone call asking me if my company ej catering would like to tender for the presentation dinner for the Wales True Taste Awards. OMG, Yes! The True Taste Food and Drink Awards are described as the 'Oscars' of the Welsh Food and Drink Industry, they are a showcase for the highest quality produce from around Wales.
The awards are celebrating their eighth year and the standard is extremely high. It's huge, and I pushed the kids' swings higher Last year we attended the event and had a brilliant night which was topped by winning the trophy for the True Taste Speciality Product (pre-packed/convenience foods) for our Welsh lamb with ratatouille of vegetables.
