Council Agrees to Talks

Summary

Protesters campaigning against the closure of a keep-fit group which has helped to rehabilitate disabled people for 30 years, have been given a lifeline. Cardiff council has agreed to sit down and talk with members of Yoga Mobility based in Rookwood Hospital in Fairwater Road, Llandaff, Cardiff, in a bid to find ways of funding the group's classes to keep it open.

The group - the only one of its kind in Wales - caters for a range of disabilities, including those with multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and arthritis or who have suffered serious physical injuries.
