QI'm not happy about the way my 82-year-old mother was treated during a recent hospital stay. A hospital stay can be a difficult time for anyone, as well as for those closest to us. Everyone has a right to feel respected when they are in hospital. Staff should show patients dignity and respect by asking them how they would like to be addressed and speaking to them in a courteous and friendly way.
