MANY people in Wales with diabetes are not getting the healthcare and support they need to manage their condition and stay healthy, according to a new survey by Diabetes UK Cymru.
The results, based on the experiences of 7,000 people with diabetes in the UK, including hundreds from Wales, reveal that one in four people are not getting foot checks, one in five don't have kidney function tests and a third have never been offered any education to help mange their diabetes.See the full content of this document
