A heroin addict whose elder brother died of an overdose tried to get sent to prison so he might come off the drug, a court heard. Christopher Price, 31, deliberately ran up fines amounting to almost pounds 900 so he would end up behind bars, Caerphilly magistrates were told.
Lisa Blanche, his solicitor, said: 'It is quite a sad state of affairs. He has appeared on two separate occasions to try to get custody, but the bench agreed to give him one more chance and that's what he didn't want.'See the full content of this document
