WINDERMERE'S Welsh wonder Simon Edwards insisted there was 'life in the old dog yet' after winning his third Ryder Cup Wales 2010 Welsh National PGA Championship.

Edwards, winner in 2002 and 2003, took the title via a play-off after locking horns at the top of the leaderboard on three under par with a determined Gareth Jones (Sandiway), who fired a best-of-the- week, four-under-par 65 to rein in the overnight leader.
