A little Chef restaurant has closed, despite a rescue deal to save the troubled firm. The restaurant, at Junction 30 of the M4, Cardiff Gate, was one of 42 of the chain's 235 restaurants to shut. It is not clear how many people worked there. A spokesman said: 'Regrettably, the Cardiff Gate Little Chef is one of the restaurants that has been closed with immediate effect.
