Summary

Schoolchildren can now access maps at their fingertips. Pupils can log on to the Cardiff council intranet system to access digital maps and atlases. GeoXplorer, a web-based geographic information system (GIS), is now available to pupils and teachers.

The system includes current and historical Ordnance Survey mapping, aerial photography, a selection of world and local maps, census data, environmental and land use data.
