Summary
I had a great time at Big Pit, Blaenavon, and really enjoyed the tour underground. In the tight shafts, wearing a helmet and with a torch so you could really see how dark it was for the miners.
It made me realise the very bad working conditions they had as did women, children and horses to provide a decent wage for the household.See the full content of this document
