A new charging policy for home care services has been brought in to comply with the Welsh Assembly Government. That was the message from Bridgend council yesterday, following the Echo's report about 84-year-old widow Sally Dobson, who was told the cost of her home help was to almost quadruple.
A spokesman said: 'Since receiving our second letter, Mrs Dobson has been in touch with our home care service to confirm that she wanted to reduce the care she receives and a revised package of care is now in place.See the full content of this document
