SIX fire crews last night battled flames that spread across two homes in Cardiff.
Firefighters were called to a home in Heol Don, Whitchurch, at 8.30pm and the first officers on the ground reported the building was "well alight". Crews used two water bowsersandtwoaerial units todouse the flames and a specialist unit was dispatched to provide support to residents evacuated from their homes. A spokesman for the South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said the flames had spread from one semidetached property into a second. She said the fire service had received no reports of anyone being injured or trapped in the building.See the full content of this document
