AN INNOVATIVE charity project to raise money for specialist cancer nursing launches in Pontypridd tomorrow. Lights in Memory involves people sponsoring lights on a Christmas tree and writing dedications to loved ones. The tree will remain lit up through the festive season.

Community fundraiser Claire Notman said: "It only costs pounds 20 an hour for a nurse to care for a patient in their own home and we would not be able to continue this work without the support of the community."
