The synagogue in Brandreth Road, Penylan, Cardiff has been empty for six months after members moved to a new synagogue.BuildingA new synagogue costing pounds 850,000 opened in nearby Cyncoed Gardens last year. The orthodox synagogue was believed to be the first synagogue to be purpose built in Wales for 50 years.
