Ospreys star Ryan Jones has described his escape of a lengthy ban as the 'best Christmas present he could have hoped for.' The Welsh international No 8 learnt at a disciplinary hearing that he would not be banned following his red card in the stormy Celtic League clash with rivals Munster last weekend.
Ospreys star Jones was sent off for stamping on the head of Ireland lock Donnacha O'Callaghan, and feared a ban which would have ruled him out of the region's must-win Heineken Cup battles, ironically against the Irish province in early January and their final Pool 4 match against Castres a week later.See the full content of this document
