FURTHER to the recent letter in the South Wales Echo from Mel Rosser (Viewpoints, May 25), as a young lad, I remember clearly the rocket battery situated in Penylan, Cardiff.
My friends and I used to play with the rocket launchers on the battery site, which was completely unguarded. Alongside each launcher was a Andersen sheltertype storage pit and inside the gleaming live rocket projectiles.See the full content of this document
