Summary
ON recently hearing that Margaret Thatcher is to get a state funeral, should not the same respect be given to our soldiers dead, wounded and serving?
As a mark of this respect it would be fitting to give Private Harry Patch such a funeral - the last-surviving British Tommy to serve in the hell of what was World War I. It would be a fitting way to put World War I to bed and with the respect we show our services. I'm sure the British public would be willing to see such a funeral.See the full content of this document
