Summary
Plans to introduce a new out-of-hours GP service has prompted fears that patients' lives could be put at risk. The move - to be introduced on October 4 - will see on-call cover slashed from THREE doctors in Bridgend alone, to FOUR GPs responsible for covering the majority of south east Wales, a population of more than 600,000.
