A former nurse and sports celebrity party-fixer broke down as a judge jailed her for getting involved with more than pounds 100,000 worth of illegal drugs from South Africa. As Joanne Wilson, 45, wept in the dock at Cardiff Crown Court, her teenage daughters also broke down in tears seeing her led away to begin 12 months inside for allowing herself to be 'used' by dealers while she was ill.

Her daughters had written letters to the judge in a bid to save their mum from jail.
