Summary


A mother wept as her son's killer was ordered to be locked up for a minimum of just two years. Michael Stone, 34, had admitted the manslaughter of his girlfriend's ex-partner, window cleaner, David Jones, 42. He died four days after a confrontation between them in the hallway of a flat at Liddicote Court, Barry, in June, which they had both at one time or other shared with Sarah Martell.

Mr Jones was said to have gone there armed with a crook lock, upset about court proceedings relating to a child he had with Ms Martell and not able to come to terms with the end of their relationship.
