Summary
Q How did you get there and how long did it take? A We live in Barry in the Vale of Glamorgan, so this was quite a different family day out for us. Like most people, we normally go a bit further afield and tend to bypass what's on our doorstep. This time we decided to stay closer to home and explore some of the hidden gems that are right here in the Vale.
Q What did you do? A We spent the morning taking a step back in time at Cosmeston Medieval Village. We were able to see, touch and even smell what life was like in 14th century Wales. It's quite fascinating to think that the reconstructed village is based on remains that were discovered during an archaeological dig during the 1980s.See the full content of this document
