Summary


'it's like Bruce Forsyth says, you just can't please all of the people, and that guy's a genius,' explained Embrace vocalist Danny McNamara on why his band divides British public so extremely. Embrace have been releasing their huge heart-on-sleeve anthems for 10 years now, and in that time they have gone from being band of the moment (1998's The Good Will Out), to being dropped by their record label in 2002 when they looked like goners.

But in 2004, Coldplay's Chris Martin gave the band a song called Gravity with which they scored a Top 10 hit and followed up with a No 1 album called Out Of Nothing; Embrace were back bigger than ever.
