A chorus of approval has been given to the Echo by performers. Splott Operatic Society's show will go on after an appeal in the paper found them an organist. Their version of Me and My Girl was under threat when their keyboard player said he was unavailable with just weeks to go.
But after an Echo article calling for a replacement, a new man is all key-ed up for the job. Chairman Martin Sheehan said: 'Through the kind piece in the paper, we now have an organist.
