The political heat was turned up in Cardiff with the Conservatives and Labour clashing after a huge hoarding was daubed. The words 'more lies' were sprayed on a Labour billboard in Llandaff North warning that the Tories would cost pounds 35bn from public services.

Jonathan Morgan, the Tory General Election candidate in Cardiff North, condemned the vandalism but said he understood people's frustrations.
