ITH a line up that can at worst be described as star studded, then only the most inept of directors could mess up this new adaptation of John le Carre's iconic novel.

I'm glad to say this big screen version makes the most of the roll call of British acting talent at its disposal. Let's be honest, any film that can call on the likes of Gary Oldman, John Hurt , Colin Firth, Tony Jones, Ciaran Hinds, Benedict Cumberbatch, Mark Strong and Tom Hardy was always onto a winner.
