As i see that once again the late Lido at Cold Knap has flooded (there were ducks swimming there over the weekend) I have to say what a pity the local authorities didn't take a brave, adventurous step and have it restored before they decided to landscape the area.

I saw a swimming pool on the west of England news rescued by an award of pounds 50,000, which paid for a cover to be put over the pool enabling the public to use it all year round even, I should imagine, without heating.
