CARDIFF'S highest ranking police officer has admitted South Wales Police would struggle to cope with a major incident in the city.

As Chief Superintendent Josh Jones defended plans to get rid of Roath, Cathays, Grangetown and Canton stations he said the force is facing a budget shortfall of pounds 15.8m this year.
