The Old Father Time road race for Master athletes, the final event of the Les Croupiers Running Club 2007 programme, attracted another bumper entry with more than one hundred and seventy athletes completing the five mile, two lap course around Pontcanna.
At the front end of the field the competition was hot with a tightly bunched group of five including Peter Coles (Pontypridd), Neil Hardee (Newport), Andrew Hussey (Cheltenham), Paul Griffiths (Neath) and Lee Aherne (Club 69) heading the field at the end of the opening circuit.See the full content of this document

Experience told on the second lap as Taffs Well resident Coles, a surprise winner last year, eased away to win by just three seconds while the much improved Hardee got the better of Hussey for second place.
