Summary


I WAS very interested in the Pope's discourse on "moral relativism". I understand it to mean that we need a singular unbending religious moral guidance in society as opposed to a changing secular moral consensus.

He uses the rise of Nazism as an example of a society descending into godless evil because of the absence of a theocratic moral absolute. He abhors the trend of what he claims is the marginalisation of religion.
