TWO rising stars of Welsh golf have narrowly failed to cap a glittering 2010 at the prestigious Daily Telegraph Abu Dhabi Junior Championship. Rhys Pugh andAmy Boulden have proved to be the standard bearers for junior golf in the principality this year and confirmed their status as Wales' bright young things with a storming performance in the United Arab Emirates to finish in second place in their respective tournaments. For 17-year-old Pugh, his runner-up spot behind England's Ben Taylor, a Walton Heath player and golf scholar at Nova Southeastern University in Florida, has put the seal on a truly remarkable 2010 for the Pontypridd schoolboy.
