SURE, we know there are still two games of the season left, but wherever Bluebirds' fans gather of late there is only one question to debate - "Who do you want in the play-offs?" Mathematically, the Championship table still throws up various options, but what is certain is that on Saturday, May 8, City will aim to take the first step to achieving what they last did half a century ago - promotion to the topflight.

We also know their opponents in that play-off semi-final first leg will be either Nottingham Forest, Leicester, Swansea or Blackpool.

We do not know if that first game will be in front of a sell-out crowd at the Cardiff City Stadium or on the road.

That will depend on the final two league games, starting with relegation-haunted Sheffield Wednesday at home on Saturday and a final-day trip to Derby on Sunday, May 2. There will be a temptation to write off those last two matches, but certainly not within the Cardiff camp itself.
