A NATIONAL inspection of adult protection policies and procedures across Wales is to be carried out following a critical report into the care of a Penarth man.
Gwenda Thomas, Deputy Minister for Social Services, said the review would consider the performance of all local authorities. It follows a report by Action on Elder Abuse which pointed to systemic failures to act on concerns raised by the family of Derek Parker over his treatment at a Penarth care home.See the full content of this document
