EMERGENCY crews rescued a man who had gone into the sea to rescue his dog.

The new Atlantic 75 was launched and the coastguard and rescue helicopter also joined the search for the missing man, who was eventually spotted with his dog about a third of the way up the side of a cliff at St Mary's Well Bay.
