Safety fears have been raised over plans to shut off traffic lights leading to a housing estate for up to three weeks next month.

There have been fatalities and serious accidents at the junction leading to Tawelfryn, Nantgarw, and if the lights are out of action - even for a short period - residents say safety could be compromised.
