FIRST Minister Rhodri Morgan promised to "safeguard as many jobs as possible" after a meeting with Bosch representatives yesterday.

The firm announced last week it was beginning a 90-day consultation that could lead to one of the region's largest factories closing within two years, with the loss of 900 jobs.
