Cardiff City chairman Peter Ridsdale has failed in his bid to win a seat on the Football Association of Wales' ruling council. Ridsdale put his name forward for one of the six available seats in the South Wales area, but only got 14 votes. It was no real surprise given that the council is dominated by Welsh League influence.
